Iceland: The song is set to premier in March!

Dadi Freyr has spoken with RUV about his song for Eurovision 2021, revealing that the song is set to premier in March.

Dadi has completed writing the song and his currently in the midst of asking the public to ve part of choir for his song. Within two days the singer explained that he received over 250 submissions from around 170 people.

According to news from RUV, Skeiða- og Gnúpverjahreppur seems a very long way from Eurovision, but it is here that Daði Freyr has settled in to work on the new song.

“It’s very cosy. It’s nice to have this window right in front of me, and when I’m tired of looking at the screen, I just need to look up and I have a pretty nice view,” Daði Freyr explains.

Daði has written the song, but has yet to fully finish and record it. The plan is to première it in March.

“I would say it is a logical next step from Think About Things. It’s upbeat and there will be a bit of dance to it, and suchlike. It’s an upbeat pop song.”
