Romania 2022: We will dance with WRS and “Llámame”

Last Saturday was the super night, because we had four national finals. One of these was the Selecția Națională 2022.

Romania, after the internal choice of Roxen for the years 2020 and 2021, returned to the national selection organized by the national TVR TV. The process to reach the final started with a selection that saw 45 initial participants, who later became 20 for the semifinal held on 12 February. The ten finalists in the competition arrived at the final were all selected exclusively by the national jury.

After the show, the results was the combination of: 1/6 of televoting and 5/6 of national jury, and give WRS and his song “Llámame” as the winner and the choice one for fly to Turin and represent the country on the stage of Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

WRS wrote the song in a songwriting camp organized by Global Publishing. He said “we meet several times in different areas of the country and for a week we do nothing but write and have fun. We have created a very nice team.”

“Llámame” is song that will do dance with latin sounds and a Spanish chorus. What do you think about the Romanian entry? What do you think they will do on the Eurovision stage?
